I appreciate this video. I bought this bumper a few months back and installed it, using a combination of this video, the instructions and doing something that I think a some people are wondering about. There is already a switch for fog lights for the tacoma, so doing this wiring through the firewall the way the show in this vide is a really miserable idea. What I did was splice the wires to the factory fog lights with the new ones and it works perfectly with the existing switch. I cut off the connector from the factory lights so I could still have the plug.

So with 07 and newer i dont need a spring compressor to do this? I have a 2013

You forgot to undo the ABS wire from the UCA. They are prone to breaking when you stretch em like that.

You do not mention torque specs. To me it seems to be an important part of an install. Especially when tightening anywhere a bushing is involved and on top of the puck.

The only people who would actually use those side steps would be someone around 4' tall or less.

What's to stop a thief with a torx security bit set? It's $4.19 at Harbor freight. It'll just slow them down a bit but it's not tamper proof. Also, it does cover the front factory skid plate area.

I think it actually looks better with the air dam...trying to track one down as my 3rd gen is missing it's air dam.

You don't need to worry about tires. The engine is the problem

I install this in my tacoma and it dies on me every 200-300 miles and check engine light its on... i had to go back to the OEM intake

Just bought the Steel Craft grill guard and is the same. as per Installation manual, this fits 07-21 Tundra's (Incl 2018..on Tundra with Safety Sense P), If you have the Adaptive cruise control, remove the center front grill window from grill guard 30:44
